In the name of Love

A friend posted up a link to this youtube Dierks Bently, Del and Chris today on facebook.  Sent me over the top.  I love this song by U2, then to hear it done by bluegrass greats and acoustic was unbelievable.  This one thing inspired me to get off my butt and start to write and post about those thing I care about in our world.  I have noticed recently that most of my posts to facebook are of this nature.  I don't really care to post about where I am, what I am doing or what I ate or made for dinner.  (as much as I am into my food) that's not what I want to do with my messages. For once it is NOT all about me.  I want to create inspiration, thought, discussions and sometimes even ruffle a few feathers to bring awareness to help raise the vibration of our planet.  It seems we so out of whack right now, with the split in our nation around politics, who's right, who's wrong.... black or white.  There seems to be no middle ground and no happy medium.  Everyone is split down some line that really doesn't or shouldn't exist.  How did we get so off center and so far from our own selves's.  Jon Stewart teacher hypocrisy

About those left hand turns!

He asked me after he left, "what the hell just happened"  I replied "I think our lives just took a sharp left hand turn!"  Friends for years, lovers only a short time, but we knew our lives were now intertwined and that changes to both our lives were going to happen.   What started out as a weekend celebrating the wedding of our friends, ended with a goodbye at the airport and I'll be down to the desert soon to see you.   After a month of calls, many text and emails, it was obvious that a long distance romance was not in the cards and no matter how hard I tried to free up my time, more and more kept happening to keep me in Breckenridge.  After a long phone converstation one night while he was on his way to Tuscon to his winter home in the desert, ready for a winter of mountain biking the email came "want a ski buddy!"  Of course I said yes!  Within a week I was back at the DIA picking him up for an extended stay.   Funny how following your heart can take you down a rode less traveled and opens you to the opportunities that love presents.
